Blue Raiders Aim for Ohio Valley Conference Title

Preseason Poll Predicts Second-Place Finish

The Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) tennis team is gearing up for the upcoming season with a roster featuring a mix of experienced veterans and talented newcomers.

• The Blue Raiders are led by senior captain Kelly Rodgers, who was named to the All-Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) team last year.
• Joining Rodgers are fellow seniors Jackie Lane and Elise Unruh, both of whom have been key contributors to the team's success in recent years.
• Head coach Jimmy Borendame has also brought in a strong group of freshmen, including top recruit Sofia Skavronska.

The Blue Raiders are looking to build on their success from last season, when they finished with a 12-9 record and reached the semifinals of the OVC Tournament.

The team has been picked to finish second in the OVC preseason poll, behind three-time defending champion Belmont.

The Blue Raiders will open their season on January 18th at home against the College of Charleston.
