Selkes Enthusiasm This Hsv Quality Will Carry Us

Selke's enthusiasm: This HSV quality "will carry us"

HSV forward Dennis Selke was full of praise for his team's performance after their 2-0 win over Hansa Rostock.

The 28-year-old, who scored the opening goal in the 23rd minute, said that the team's fighting spirit and determination was key to their victory. "We showed a lot of character today," he said. "We never gave up and we always believed in ourselves. That's the kind of attitude that will help us to achieve our goals this season."

Selke also praised the team's new coach, Tim Walter, for his positive influence on the team. "He's a great coach," said Selke. "He knows how to get the best out of his players and he always believes in us. We're all very grateful to have him."

HSV are now unbeaten in their last five games and are up to fourth in the Bundesliga 2 table. Selke believes that the team can continue to improve and challenge for promotion this season. "We're a young team with a lot of potential," he said. "We're learning and growing all the time. I believe that we can achieve anything if we stick together and keep working hard."

Selke's comments were echoed by his teammates, who were also full of praise for the team's performance. "We played very well today," said defender Mario Vuskovic. "We were solid at the back and we created a lot of chances going forward. We're a very good team when we play like that."

HSV will be looking to continue their good form when they take on Erzgebirge Aue on Tuesday. Selke is confident that the team can get another three points. "We're in a good place at the moment," he said. "We're playing with a lot of confidence and we're all very excited about the future."
