Miikka Kiprusoff Honored by Calgary Flames with Heartfelt Jersey Retirement Ceremony

Tribute to Calgary Flames Legend

Jersey Retirement Night Details Unveiled

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames will honor their legendary goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff with a jersey retirement ceremony on March 2nd at the Saddledome. The heartwarming ceremony will take place at 6:20 pm, an hour and 40 minutes before the puck drops for the Flames' matchup with the Los Angeles Kings.

Kiprusoff, known for his incredible athleticism and clutch saves, is widely regarded as one of the greatest goaltenders in Flames history. The Finnish netminder played 13 seasons with the team, leading them to the Stanley Cup Final in 2004 and winning the Vezina Trophy in 2006.

Kiprusoff's No. 34 will be the fourth jersey number retired by the Flames, joining Lanny McDonald (9), Al MacInnis (2), and Joe Nieuwendyk (25). The ceremony promises to be an emotional tribute to a player who holds a special place in the hearts of Flames fans.
